School Rules & Discipline

Our expectation is for a high standard of behaviour from all children at all times. School rules apply whilst children are on their way to and from school. The mention of punishment is made only so that parents and children may be aware of the general philosophy of the school in this matter, as it is hoped that the behaviour of the children will reflect favourably in the neighbourhood community as well as in the school itself.

The requirements of the 1986 Education (No.2) Act are met in full. Parents are welcome to come in and read the whole Discipline Policy and discuss any queries. The importance of Home-School co-operation where discipline is concerned cannot be over-emphasised, and therefore the school regards this disciplinary procedure as a binding contract between parents and school, once the parent has elected to send their child to our school.
